Overview
The BMD0004 adds four binary outputs to a DDC4000e or DDC520 controller: two floating changeover contacts and two floating normally open contacts, each rated 230 V AC, 6 (3) A. Each relay has a rotary switch for auto, on or off, so loads can be forced during commissioning or a fault. Relays are suitable for direct switching of motors in utilisation category AC-3 (350 W, 230 V, up to 2.5 A continuous) with suitable protection fitted in the switchgear. The module connects as a fieldbus (2000 m) or cabinet bus (200 m) module, is addressed 01 to 63, and has spring terminals and hot-plug capability.
