Overview
The BMD1200 adds twelve binary inputs to a DDC4000e or DDC520 controller. Each input is a two-terminal contact input fed from the module's own 12 V auxiliary voltage, so there is no connection to earth or reference potential, and NAMUR proximity sensors are supported. Any input can count pulses up to 80 Hz. Switching threshold is off at or below 2.5 V and on at or above 5.0 V. It connects as a fieldbus (2000 m) or cabinet bus (200 m) module with addresses 01 to 63, has a status LED per input, spring terminals and hot-plug capability.
