Overview
The FBM018 adds eight potential-free contact inputs (K1 to K8) to a DDC420 or DDC4000 controller over the field bus. Each input can read a normally open or normally closed contact or count pulses up to 80 Hz, and an LED shows the state of each input. The module is powered from the 12 V DC field bus supply and addressed from 01 to 63 with rotary switches. Z179 cascade plugs link up to five modules. The FBM018W is the same module supplied in a Z175 wall-mounting enclosure rated IP65.
