From the manufacturer's datasheet for LIOB-589.
The LIOB-589 is an IP-enabled, compact, programmable I/O controller designed for advanced building automation and energy management applications. As a BACnet Building Controller (B-BC), it combines physical I/O with powerful software features such as alarming, scheduling, trending (AST™), and integrated visualization. Dual Ethernet interfaces enable cost-efficient daisy-chain wiring or redundant ring topologies using RSTP. The controller supports open protocols including BACnet, LonMark, Modbus, and OPC UA, ensuring seamless integration into heterogeneous BMS environments. Programmable via L-STUDIO (IEC 61131-3 and IEC 61499), the LIOB-589 also supports IoT integration through Node.js, allowing cloud connectivity, MQTT telemetry, and advanced analytics.
I/O configuration: 10 × Universal Inputs 6 × Digital Inputs 6 × Analog Outputs 4 × Relay Outputs (8 A) Built-in LCD (128×64) with jog dial for local operation and override Supports EnOcean, WLAN, MP-Bus, LTE, and M-Bus via optional interfaces Integrated OPC UA & OPC XML-DA server with encrypted communication BTL-certified BACnet Building Controller (B-BC) DIN-rail mounted (EN 50022 / DIN 43880) Manufactured in Austria
