Overview
The NOVOS 3 is a room sensor for measuring temperature, humidity, CO2 and mixed gas (VOC), depending on the part. Absolute humidity, enthalpy and dew point are calculated from the humidity reading. It suits schools, offices, hotels and cinemas. An ePaper display shows the values, and an RGB LED gives a traffic light indication when configurable thresholds are passed. Settings are made with the Thermokon NOVOSapp or uConfig, and all values are read over RS485 Modbus RTU. There is one input for a floating contact. The mixed gas sensor responds to volatile organic compounds such as body odour, tobacco smoke and gases given off by furniture, carpets and paint. The base can be mounted and wired separately from the front, in a 60 mm EU box or flat on a wall.
