Overview
The RDI is a passive infrared motion sensor for ceiling mounting. Its 30 mm diameter lets it sit unobtrusively in a suspended ceiling. It can switch lighting by occupancy, or set back the temperature when a room is empty. Three versions have different detection areas. At 2.5 m mounting height the standard version covers about 7.1 x 5.3 m, the small range version 6 x 4.3 m and the spot version 1.7 x 1 m. A floating NO contact holds for 8 seconds after the last movement.
