Overview
RGD80 is a two-way control valve with a spheroidal cast iron body, DIN PN25 flanges and stainless steel seat, cone and spindle. It regulates liquids and steam in heating, district heating and process pipework, and is sold as a valve body for fitting an actuator from the Kieback&Peter MD or MF series. The plug has an equal percentage characteristic and the seat meets leakage class VI to EN 1349. The stem seal is a maintenance-free PTFE chevron pack. Water is rated to 120 °C at 25 bar, and hot water or steam to 200 °C at 20 bar. It is driven by an MD250 or MF250 actuator (2500 N), or for DN50 to DN80 by an MF100-SR-L spring-return actuator.
