Overview

The SR-MOC Solar is a wireless ceiling mounted motion sensor. A passive infrared sensor covers a 360 degree area about 5 m across at a mounting height of about 2.5 m. A solar cell powers it, with an internal super capacitor to carry it through the dark. A CR2032 coin cell or an external 3 to 5 V DC supply can be used where the light is poor. It sends an EnOcean telegram (EEP A5-07-01) as soon as it detects motion, every 2 minutes while someone is present, every 10 and 30 minutes when no one is present, and a heartbeat every 60 minutes if enabled.
