Overview
The STC-BAC-IP3 gateway enables seamless integration of EnOcean-based wireless devices into BACnet/IP building automation systems. Designed for DIN-rail mounting, it comes with an external 2.5 m antenna to ensure stable radio communication. The gateway supports bidirectional data exchange, allowing EnOcean devices such as sensors, actuators, and room panels to be controlled and monitored within BACnet environments. Configuration is performed via Thermokon’s EasySens airConfig software, providing functions like commissioning, EEP assignment, backup/restore, and network management. Supporting up to 128 transmit channels, with unlimited receive channels, the STC-BAC-IP3 delivers a scalable, reliable, and energy-efficient solution for modern BMS infrastructures.
Default IP: 192.168.100.100 if DHCP unavailable. Supports BACnet Foreign Device Registration (FDR) and BBMD for cross-subnet communication. Backups can be stored locally or in the cloud. Accessories: Antenna extension cables (10 m / 20 m), magnetic antenna plate, EnOcean USB transceiver. Recommended antenna mounting: ≥10 cm from walls/ceiling, ≥0.5 m from other transmitters.
