Overview

The TFRe monitors the temperature downstream of a heat exchanger in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. An integrated P-controller drives the heat exchanger valve between 0 and 10 V, and the unit stops the fan, and if needed closes the air inlet flaps, when the set limits are passed. The temperature is measured with a contact, immersion or cable sensor, and the input accepts Pt1000 (default), NTC10k, Ni1000 or Ni1000TK5000 curves. There are two rotary knobs, one for the alarm temperature and one for the proportional band, and an alarm is raised on cable break or sensor short circuit. For a quick reading in the heat exchanger return pipe, Thermokon suggests a fast sensor such as the TF14 with KL4VA. The housing is prepared for TS35 DIN rail mounting.
