Overview
The MD250/230 is the mains-voltage version of the MD250. It develops 2500 N and drives the larger Kieback&Peter valves: RK65 to RK100, RF65 to RF100, RD65 to RD100, RGD50 to RGD100, RWG50 to RWG100 and RGDE25 to RGDE100. It is supplied at 110 to 230 V AC and is controlled by a 3-point (open, stop, close) or 2-point (open, close) signal, so it suits plant where there is no 24 V control supply. The stroke adapts automatically at initialisation up to 30 mm. Speed is 3.8 s/mm as delivered or 11 s/mm, set by DIP switch. An operating mode switch allows manual Auto, Stop, Close and Open, and the housing is IP54 and protection class I. The MD250/230-E adds an auxiliary switch module with two floating changeover contacts on bistable relays, reporting open, closed, two adjustable positions or a fault, and holding the last state through a power cut.
