Overview
The MD250 is a motorised linear actuator with 2500 N of force for the larger Kieback&Peter valves: RK65 to RK100, RF65 to RF100, RD65 to RD100, RGD50 to RGD100, RWG50 to RWG100 and RGDE25 to RGDE100. It runs on 24 V AC or DC and is driven by a continuous 0(2) to 10 V or 0(4) to 20 mA signal, a 3-point signal or a 2-point signal. The signal type is detected and set with DIP switches. The stroke is found automatically at initialisation, up to 30 mm. Running speed is 3.8 s/mm as delivered, or 11 s/mm for quieter, slower control. Position feedback is available as a voltage or current signal and a fault is reported on the same output. A manual mode switch gives Auto, Stop, Close and Open. The MD250-E adds an auxiliary switch module with two floating changeover contacts. They report open, closed, two adjustable positions or a fault and use bistable relays, so the last state is kept after a power cut. Supplied with the Z193 mounting kit when ordered with a valve from the factory.
