Overview
The MVE5xx is an electromechanical actuator for two and three way globe valves in heating and cooling systems, air handling units, district heating plants and industrial temperature control. A brushless DC motor drives a screw jack, giving accurate and repeatable linear movement across 500 steps of the stroke. It takes either a modulating signal or a 3 point floating signal, selected with DIP switches on the board. Modulating ranges are 0 to 10 V, 2 to 10 V, split ranges for sequencing, and 4 to 20 mA. A 2 to 10 V feedback signal reports position. The actuator calibrates itself to the valve stroke, which can be switched off for manual calibration. It mounts directly on iSMA Controlli flanged valves. Linkage kits (the AG range) adapt it to threaded iSMA Controlli valves and to valves from Belimo, Siemens, Danfoss, Honeywell, Johnson Controls and others.
