Overview
RB15 is a three-way control valve with a gunmetal body, brass cone and CrMo steel spindle. It mixes or diverts water and water-glycol mixes in heating and cooling circuits. The ends are male threads and the valve is supplied with female union fittings, so it fits without welding or flanges. It is offered in Kvs 0.63, 1.0, 1.6, 2.5 and 4.0. Port A to AB has an equal percentage characteristic and port B to AB is linear. Fitting a blank cover (BK) on port B turns it into a two-way valve. The stem seal is a maintenance-free EPDM O-ring pack and seat leakage is class VI to EN 1349. It is operated by the Kieback&Peter MD100-RE or MF100-SR family of actuators. With the spring-return MF100-SR, port A stays open if the power fails.
