Overview
RGD15 is a two-way control valve with a spheroidal cast iron body, DIN PN25 flanges and stainless steel seat, cone and spindle. It regulates liquids and steam in heating, district heating and process pipework, and is sold as a valve body for fitting an actuator from the Kieback&Peter MD or MF series. The Kvs options are 0.4, 0.63, 1.0, 1.6, 2.5 and 4.0, all in the same DN15 body. The plug has an equal percentage characteristic and the seat meets leakage class VI to EN 1349. The stem seal is a maintenance-free PTFE chevron pack. Water is rated to 120 °C at 25 bar, and hot water or steam to 200 °C at 20 bar. It is driven by an MD100-RE or MF100-SR series actuator (MF100-SR gives spring-return closing on power loss). The valve is Kieback&Peter's RGD15..40 range.
